Eileen Moffatt

It all started on the Big Four Ranch

Growing up in the Colroado Rockies, Eileen comes by her appreciation of cheese through family ties. Her dad ran away to the local cheesecounter at four years old because he just "needed" a hunk of cheddar. 

​

Eileen had her first experiences with bringing the cows to the barn after school for the evening milking while living on the Bar Four Ranch in the Roaring Fork Valley.

 

She went on to win a blue ribbon for her snickerdoodle cookies at the Colorado State Fair. Hooked on fresh food, she's been to the San Francisco Cheeseschool, and attended classes at Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, Viking Cooking School in Walnut Creek,California and was a culinary assistant at Pans On Fire in Livermore, California.

A former advertising copywriter and clincial psychologist, you might find her in a kayak or on the Zumba dance floor when she's not in the kitchen.
